GSA Federal Office Building 8
Washington, DC, United States Government / Public

Federal Office Building 8 (FOB8) is a 547,000-sq-ft 1960s-era laboratory building that was transformed to Class A office space and features new architectural accents, such as glass atriums.
The project involved a retrofit of HVAC control overlaid by a Web-based EC-Net-AX platform.
Over 900 ECB Series BACnet programmable controllers were installed.
The project made use of “Open-to-Wireless” wireless battery-less temperature sensors for implementation of an efficient sensing solution, without affecting either the building’s original or new architecture.
