Five-year appointment given to industry leader
Atlanta, GA – January 9, 2019 – Andy McMillan was recently named Honorary Professor at Zhijiang College, Zhejiang University of Technology. McMillan is the president of BACnet International and has been involved in the building automation industry for over 15 years. He has been an invited speaker on BACnet and open systems at conferences around the world, most recently at the BACnet Interest Group – China/Asia’s BACnet Golden Week where he presented a session on the application of BACnet in airports.
Lin Peng Li, dean of Zhijiang College, made the five year appointment on November 13, 2018 in Shaoxing, China.
“I’m proud to accept this honorary professorship from Dean Li,” said McMillan. “Zhijiang College is working hard to advance the availability of BACnet education in China and I look forward to working with them to achieve that goal.”
