McMillan is the president of BACnet International and has been involved in the building automation industry for over 15 years.&nbsp;He has been an invited speaker on BACnet and open systems at conferences around the world, most recently at the BACnet Interest Group \u2013 China\/Asia\u2019s BACnet Golden Week where he presented a session on the application of BACnet in airports.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lin Peng Li, dean of Zhijiang College, made the five year appointment on November 13, 2018 in Shaoxing, China.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m proud to accept this honorary professorship from Dean Li,\u201d said McMillan. \u201cZhijiang College is working hard to advance the availability of BACnet education in China and I look forward to working with them to achieve that goal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About BACnet International<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BACnet International is an industry association that facilitates the successful use of the BACnet protocol in building automation and control systems through interoperability testing, educational programs and promotional activities.
